This wonderful collection was donated to Young Harris College by Rev. David Ogletree in 2003. In 2005 the Collection was dedicated to Rev. Ogletree's friend Dr. Bettie Sellers, YHC emerita. Since that time the Collection has been being processed and opened to researchers and other interested persons. While the work is not yet complete, we encourage interested persons to explore the website and check back often as more information is added. Click on the links on the left to see information about the various types of material in the collection, and the status of processing.

The collection donated by Rev. David Ogletree to Young Harris College is extensive. There are over 1200 books and as yet uncounted pamphlets, serials and clippings about Lincoln. There are also hundreds of pieces of realia. Together, these materials provide a unique look at Abraham Lincoln the man, the politician and the fascination America has with the 16th president and the times in which he lived.
